Loch Ness...  legendary Loch Ness - a place of mystery and legend - there's an almost spiritual feeling in this place if you stop and listen. Hear the rushing of waves or monsters in the misty loch, always just out of focus. Listen, a cackling skein of geese flying north overhead, the clashing metal of warring clansmen in the hills rising silently from the peaty water. Was that a distant piper? Piping on the wind - an eerie and distinctive sound filtering through the misty breeze and flowing across the murky waters of Loch Ness. The hairs on your neck tingle, it's so real, it's beautiful - you just have to listen and imagine and you know why so many artists, poets and craftsmen make their home here.
